gig and member movement on Monday 14th June, 2004 by brendan
Whatsup?
The latest in the world of propane is that we are playing a show at the alley with go_roko on Th June 17.
What can I expect?
Phil on theremin, BW on a thing called a guitar (or axe if ya hip), Mal on bass (not double this time though), Dale on the skins and Scott on the decks.
WhatsLukaupto?
Luka is in Melbourne counselling James Hird and the Essendon players after they got hammered by the mighty Brisbane Lions on Saturday night. He will be in Bris Vegas next week!
Whatsknokkerupto?
Knokker is on his way back to Oz as well in about a month.
How is the new album coming along?
Very well. We should be finished soon and will keep you posted. It's groovy, it's pop and it has a few singalongs as well.
We just did a foto shoot with Mark Usher in which my paranoia of being hit by a car was tested when he made us stand in the middle of the road for the shoot. I only did it because of peer group pressure.
Did somebody say sax?
Yes I am still trying to convince Ben Burns to play some sax solos on the album but he is getting more elusive the older he gets. It only serves to build his mystique.

Sport Illustarted Model in Propane Film Clip on Friday 20th June, 2003 by luka
The Propane Trio have had their nose to the grindstone over the last month and the results are looking and sounding NEAT! Last weekend was devoted totally to capturing footage for two up ‘n’ coming clips. The first clip for POP IS PORN will be completed within the next two weeks and is being cut by Deek Gibson. The clip features band footage and the exquisite personality, face and body of Jackie McKinlay, who interrupted a calendar shoot to do the film clip. Jackie is a member of The Broncos Cheer squad and is currently in the June issue of Inside Sport. Needless to say the clip sizzles!!!!!!!
